ActionSA’s Limpopo premier candidate, Kgoshi Letsiri Phaahla, expressed satisfaction as five suspects allegedly involved in stealing weapons and ammunition from a Polokwane police facility were remanded in custody.
Jacob Seshoka, an Economic Freedom Fighters councillor from Ward 10 in Polokwane, is among the accused, facing charges related to possessing an unlicensed firearm, ammunition, and stolen property.
The accused appeared in Seshego Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday and are scheduled for separate formal bail applications on January 10, 12, and 15.
Phaahla emphasized the significance of preventing these suspects from evading justice, highlighting their perceived threat to society.
