South Africa’s President Cyril Ramaphosa has addressed circulating rumors about his health following the cancellation of his scheduled visit to Church on the Hill.
Dismissing unverified social media claims of collapsing and being hospitalized, President Ramaphosa assured the public during his visit to the late Dr. Enos Mabuza’s residence in Mpumalanga that he is in good health.
The President clarified the situation, emphasizing that his absence at the Church on the Hill was not due to any health-related issues.
He reiterated his commitment to his duties and responsibilities as the head of state, putting an end to speculations that gained momentum on various social media platforms.
The unconfirmed reports that went viral alleged that President Ramaphosa had collapsed, necessitating urgent medical attention at a military hospital.
However, these claims were swiftly dismissed as false by the President himself, who carried on with his official engagements, including paying respects to the late Dr. Mabuza.
