Saselamani – The South African Police Service in Saselamani has begun a search for two male suspects involved in a house robbery at Mhinga Zone 02 village,outside Saselamani. The incident occurred on Tuesday, 18 June 2024, around 13:00.
According to police reports, a 26-year-old woman and her one-year-old daughter were at home when two unknown men entered the house.
“The suspects asked about the owner of the house, and the woman responded,” said Police Spokesperson Colonel Ledwaba Malesela.
“One suspect then pointed a firearm at her, threatening to kill them if she screamed and demanded money,” added Colonel Malesela.
The woman showed them the owner’s room. One suspect entered the room and returned with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspects quickly left the house and fled the scene in an unknown black vehicle.
“Police have initiated a manhunt for the suspects, who are still at large. Investigations are ongoing.” Said Colonel Ledwaba Malesela.
