Thohoyandou – Police in the Vhembe District have launched a manhunt for a suspect involved in a business robbery at a pharmacy in the Thohoyandou CBD. The incident occurred on Friday, June 21, 2024, at around 11:25 AM.
Preliminary reports from the police indicate that the suspect, armed with a firearm and wearing a balaclava, entered the pharmacy and demanded money.
Police Spokesperson Colonel Ledwaba Malesela stated that, “The robber made off with two cellphones and an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the scene.”
Police investigations are ongoing as they work to track down the suspect. “Anyone with information about the robbery is urged to contact the Thohoyandou police,” said Colonel Ledwaba.
