Today, Limpopo Health MEC Dr. Phophi Ramathuba visited the Forensic Pathology unit and met with the families of the 13 victims of the car crash that occurred on the R521 between Polokwane and Dendron.
Dr. Ramathuba expressed her condolences and offered emotional support to the bereaved families. She updated them on the progress of the positive identification and autopsies, which started on May 29th and will be completed by the end of today, May 30th.
MEC reassured the families that their private undertakers would be able to collect the bodies of their loved ones by the end of the business day, depending on their readiness.
