The Office of the Premier in Limpopo is launching a new Electronic Recruitment System (e-Recruitment) to improve job application processes. This advanced system has been introduced Today (June 16, 2024) at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane during the Youth Day celebrations.
The e-Recruitment platform aims to make job applications easier and more accessible. It will allow job seekers to apply from home, helping to attract skilled professionals to important positions.
The move from a paper-based system to an online platform will save time and reduce costs for applicants. This new system aligns with the government’s goal to use technology for better efficiency and transparency in hiring.
It also supports the Directive on Human Resource Management and Development for Public Service Professionalization, which started on April 1, 2024.
According to the statement released by the office of the Premier in Limpopo, The e-Recruitment system will be piloted in the Office of the Premier first and then expanded to other provincial departments.
“While the system is online, traditional physical applications will still be accepted to accommodate those without internet access. However, online applications are encouraged to reduce queues and save money,” read the statement.
Applicants will receive confirmation for every online submission.
