Malamulele – During the State of the Municipality Address on Friday, Mayor Maluleke S.G announced a strengthened partnership with local police stations to combat crime in the municipality.
The collaboration includes Malamulele, Saselamani, Vuwani, and Hlanganani Police Stations.
“Fighting crime is our priority. We are working with Safety Forums and Community Policing Forums,” the mayor emphasized.
Mayor Maluleke also reported a tragic incident: “Between Mavambe Village and Doveni Village, police discovered the body of a Grade 11 girl who was missing.”
He condemned the rise of Gender-Based Violence, calling it a “demon” that continues to plague the community.
“Let us work together with the police to curb the scourge,” urged Mayor Maluleke, highlighting the need for collective action against crime and violence.
