Fulefhelo Mafadza was born in Ha Davhana Village in Venda, Limpopo, and She is currently based in Vyeboom.
Mafadza started her primary at Sundani in Hasundani village situated in Venda, she then went to Muthurwana Secondary School where she only completed grade 8 before moving to Edson Nesengani Secondary School in Tshino village.
However, Mafadza went to Gauteng City College to further her studies where she studied Chemical engineering . Due to unstated reasons, she forced to drop out with only N5 in engineering.
Nonetheless, the Ha Davhana Village born girl said she started writing during her high school attendance, but it was when she dropped out in collage to put an effort in writing.
“I found an incomplete drama I used to write while I was still in high school, it bought me good memories and it made me laugh a little.” Explained Mafadza.
Mafadza has so far managed to publish two novels with one named Phuli Vhusendekamisi which was derived from spiritual captivity.
“It’s a spiritual book, it talks about witchcraft, fake pastors, leaders who are bloodsuckers and innocent people who are slaves, it also mentions how everything is connected to the flesh.”
Mafadza said she doesn’t know how long everything will take to work out but she believes one day it will.
“My goal is to reach big studios like Marvel in America.” She added.
Her second novel is titled Ndivhoniswani which is based on gender based violence.
“We are living in a society where father’s are raping and killing their kids, and the children are unable to speak out about it as they fear for their lives.” said Mafadza.
