The senior pastor Lutendo Laka of The Resurrection of Christ Christian Church based in Pretoria does not rely on church offerings to earn a living instead she has some alternatives to generate income.
Lutendo leads with examples. She urged South African youth to awake from slumber and try hard to earn instead of pointing fingers at the government.
Champlain Laka (35) is a strong woman with a heart made of gold. A God fearing woman and upcoming gospel musician born and raised in Venda. She formed the ministry in 2012 when God elected and anointed her to take care of her congregates.
“I am Tabitha of this present age-a woman from the bible who used her hands to better her life. I urge all Youth to follow in my footsteps,” the champlain mumbled.
Apart from pastoring,Lutendo is the CEO of two businesses. She owns Green Pasture farming where she practices poultry, specifically chickens to sell for earnings. Laka is also the rector of Botle Fragrances specializing in manufacturing beauty products.
The woman of God whispered to MME that Manna descended only once from heaven therefore the youth must be taught to hustle to make ends meet instead of acting like baby-sitters.
“Even though there is a high rate of unemployment, starting your business is a smart way of employment creation. You are the government and the power is in you to alter your country”, she said.
Pastor Lutendo said that she has seen God in action on her pastoring journey.
“I have raised pastors in music and l am currently working on an album titled “Spiritual journey”.”
The women of God also confirmed that she will release a single track anytime from now titled “Uhambe Nami” which will be available on all platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, Tik Tok, and many more.
Lutendo promised that a full album will be launched by the end of October.
