Residents of Botsoleni village, Nghezimani, Masia, and Mashau village (Misevhe A, B, C, and D) have reason to celebrate. On Friday, December 1st, Mayor Shadrack Maluleke of Collins Chabane Local Municipality officially handed over four ring road projects that will be constructed in less than 12 months.
Mayor Maluleke expressed his happiness that the construction of the roads has begun and urged all community stakeholders to work well with the contractors for the benefit of the people.
“These projects will bring many benefits, such as improved service delivery, job creation, and the restoration of dignity to the residents,’ said Collins Chabane Mayor Maluleke.
Mayor Maluleke continues to say, “The projects are expected to create approximately 1000 jobs once they are completed. This will not only provide employment opportunities but also empower local entrepreneurs.”
“The traditional leaders of the four villages have welcomed the projects and pledged their support to the municipality.,” Added Mayor Maluleke.
The Mayor was joined by members of the Executive Committee, the Speaker of the Municipality, Councillors, and the Municipal Manager.
This is great news for the residents of Botsoleni, Nghezimani, Masia, and Mashau village. The construction of these ring roads will not only improve transportation in the area but also bring much-needed jobs and economic growth.
