In a recent speech at the DA Gauteng congress, Helen Zille, the Chairperson of the Democratic Alliance (DA) Federal Council, emphasized the party’s commitment to reconciliation amidst rising tensions and hate in society.
Zille presented a powerful analogy, associating hate and racism with the color red [EFF], while highlighting the DA’s role in promoting unity and understanding represented by the color blue.
Zille’s statement draws attention to the severity of hate and racism, recognizing their destructive impact on individuals and communities.
By denouncing these harmful ideologies as red [EFF], she underscores the urgent need to address and eradicate them from our society.
“ The real battle begins, remember Red [EFF] is hate and blue [DA] is reconciliation. Racism is red, calling for the murder of people is red ”- DA Federal Council chairperson Helen Zille.
Recognizing the importance of unity and reconciliation, Zille aligns the DA’s values with the color blue, symbolizing a commitment to fostering understanding, empathy, and inclusivity.
The former DA leader Hellen Zille went on to say, she will see the ANC die in the same way as the National Party did because it doesn’t know what it stands for anymore.
“It won’t be long before the choice is between blue [DA] and red [EFF]. Blue and red will be the future choice of South Africa,” said Zille.
South Africa will be hosting national elections in 2024, with the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) describing the 2024 election as being akin to the 1994 election.
