The African National Congress (ANC) in Limpopo is gearing up to unveil its choice for the next provincial premier, as Premier Stanley Mathabatha’s term draws to a close.
With the party facing the task of nominating a new leader, the Provincial Executive Committee met Yesterday to put forward potential candidates.
Among those expected to be nominated are MECs Dr. Phophi Ramathuba, Nakedi Sibanda-Kekana, Thabo Mokone, and Basikop Makamu. The ANC clinched a decisive victory in both national and provincial elections in the province, securing 73.3% of the vote and 48 seats in the Limpopo Legislature.
