A 42-year-old man was arrested for allegedly hijacking a taxi and robbing passengers in Mutale, Limpopo. The suspect, along with three other men, reportedly hijacked a Toyota Quantum taxi and shot a neighborhood watch member at Tswera Bridge.
The stolen taxi was later found abandoned at the Vhurivhuri-Golwe picnic campsite entrance.
Police arrested two suspects, aged 35 and 41, at Tshandama village in Makuya, while the other two escaped.
The 42-year-old suspect has also been linked to other crimes, including an attempted murder in Makuya and a house robbery in Ha-Tshifura, Thohoyandou.
Police are continuing the search for the remaining suspects.
