Johannesburg – Naadira Banker’s family accepted the life sentence handed down to her killers in Johannesburg High Court. The suspects, Lucky Mshubi(36), and Thabo Mambila (31) allegedly kidnapped and killed Vanker who was a 31-year-old teacher at Progress primary school in Lenesia, last year in April.
“Vanker was abducted from her flat in Lenasia, which she shared with her partner, Imraan Haider, and children aged 10, 7, 4, and 1,” said Aabida Genner who is the sister of the victim.
“The two accused arrived at the home shortly after Haider, left for work. Vanker and her two elder children were awake,”
Banker’s body was found in a shallow grave at the home of Lucky Mshubi, 36, in Phumlamqashi, south of Lenasia, after six day’s search that was conducted by Police.
